Maidesite SC1 Pro - Electric Height Adjustable Standing Desk 160X80/180x80 cm

I looked everywhere to find a desk and I came across MaidesiteUK website, once I read the reviews I made my mind up and decided to purchase one. Fantastic product easy to set up and very solid, and the customer service is brilliant always on hand and willing to assist.

Great desk, easy to assemble and a good size, the standing function is great as I have a bad back and it is good to change my position. It also looks very smart.

Components are very solid and well made Well, the staff have been incredible, Carolyn has been truly outstanding and supportive when we had issues with delivery from the delivery company, she has single handedly changed what should have been a negative review for the firm into an excellent one, so thank you Carolyn for your professionalism and patience. =) Beyond that I think that the desk itself is excellent quality, and could only be improved by using solid woods as opposed to a laminate finish... (it is a very good quality finish though, you'd only notice the difference upon close inspection). The parts came extremely well packaged and took a heck of a lot of damage from the delivery firm, but due to their packaging I couldn't find any evidence of impact damage and all the components appear to function perfectly. The metal parts are extremely well made, solid and durable with a excellent and consistent paint finish, it's been painted extremely well, all aspects are painted perfectly and are quality beefy components. The matt black section in the centre looks like it's been as well made as it could be, being a laminate I'm expecting a few marks over the years, but I expect it will be surprisingly robust durable, it's got a well thought out satin sheen which will clean up beautifully and doesn't show fingerprints even under direct lighting conditions... The desk moves at a decent speed and starts and stops softly gently accelerating to its max speed (not fast but do you want it to be fast with all the snagging risks of cables etc?) it moves at the ideal speed imo, and it's quite quiet. The instructions could be improved, they really could, but you will get there in the end... I actually think they forgot a section in the instructions which details fixing the metal frame to the table top, there were 6 or so screws provided, but I couldn't find the section that states where and when to fit them... I knew they were needed as there are preinstalled screw locations to install them and receiving bolts, but the info wasn't listed in the documents. (there were 2 documents, almost identical, but both lacked the correct info). Overall, I'd say that the desk is exactly worth the price, you should feel very happy with the purchase, it feels like a solid piece of kit, it's sturdy when low and very good when high too, even for dual monitors mounted on arms. It looks great, works well and should last for many many years.

Brilliant desk and better than expected This is a brilliant desk and one of the few to be a larger size with double motors. Easy to assemble and feels high quality in all its parts. Before purchase I looked at lots of reviews and have to say some appear misleading about this product. I had no issues with the assembly or the 3part desk top being perfectly level. I love the control box with its easy adjustment and lock out to stop people messing with the settings as well as having 4 presets that are programmable to your preference. Delivery was excellent and in-line with dates provided. Yes this is slightly higher priced than some but the quality and fact it is the largest I could find with dual motors is the reason for the price and in my opinion it’s worth every bit.

This is amazing I got this a few weeks ago and had to write a review about it, for the price this is the best I have bought so far. (I had a similar one, and it was cheaply made). This is about what I estimated, maybe about 200ish lbs. Since I couldn't lift the box myself, the packaging is amazing. I have never seen a heavy product packaged so nicely. Usually when I get something of this weight, it has some sort of dent and scratch. I mean, it's not a big deal, but for the money I paid, shouldn't I get something that is well protected? Overall, after installation, the lifting process and installation was very smooth and easy (you might not understand the manual book, but watch the video, there is a URL link attached to one of the desk panels. just be careful when scrolling through the pieces) the video installation was very straightforward and easy to follow. Be very careful with these metal pieces though. They are very heavy, so be extra careful when putting them together (I accidentally dropped them, and yes, there is a dent on my wooden floor). The size of the table is probably one of the largest I have ever seen. It's perfect if you have 2-3 monitors (software development/inventory analysis), might be a bit too big for most rooms, so best for you to measure your room before deciding on sizes.

Overall good The basic function of height adjustable desk works well, wood quality is good. The wood top is composed of 3 parts. They don't assemble together in a very tight manner. With default materials, the middle part falls a little bit lower than the two sides. I added 4 iron bars to hold them flat and firm.

good looking I use this table to decorate my administrative office. It looks very good and the price is acceptable.
